Your 5,364m (over 3.5 miles!) trek up the world’s tallest mountain will bring you over suspension bridges spanning chasms of thin air, through hidden Buddhist monasteries, and into the heart of the warm, rugged Sherpa culture. As you travel alongside thrillseekers and photographers from all over the globe, you’ll spy Cho Oyu, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam – three of Earth’s 10 tallest peaks! You’ll rest easy at night in cozy, traditional teahouses knowing that our experienced, knowledgeable guides and porters are there to ensure the safest, most enjoyable, most fascinating experience possible. You’ll support local economies, discover hidden strengths in yourself, and make both friends and memories that will last a lifetime. What are you waiting for ?
Arrival at Kathmandu International airport, Welcome by Home of Treks Representative and transfer to hotel.
This day is for you to do preparation for your trek, buy some essential gears and hang around Kathmandu.
Depart Kathmandu via air, for Lukla (8800ft) and a short trek (2-3 hours trek to) to Phakding at 8,661 feet. The flight into Lukla is similar to the Everest View flight for views and beauty.
The trail climbs gradually following the river and enters the Everest National Park at Jorsale, then crosses the river and climbs steeply to Namche (11,100 feet). (4-6 hours).
Namche acclimatization day halt/ rest day or day hike possible. Namche is capital of the Khumbu district and offers many ways to spend a day.
Tengboche. We Climb the ridge above Namche and descend to the Dudh Koshi Riover before climbing again to Tengboche Monastery (12664 feet). (4-6 hours). Devoche is slightly further (20minutes) a charming village.
Dingboche (14000 feet), we walk slowly through the pleasant village of Pangboche and on to Dingboche.
Lobuche (16000 feet) very scenic day hike seems easy but high alpine barren journey walking through glacier moraine and an hour Thugla Pass climb up.
Gorakchhep. Our last camp is here before taking our long day hike to the summit of Kalapatthar (18,000 feet, 5545m). Or explore Everest Base Camp (5310m).
KalaPathar: During a long day, we ascend and descend Kalapatthar, spend the night in Pangbouche.
Namche. All the way we follow up and down way hike with feeling easy passing the tengbouche village.
Return to Lukla- all the way of Dudhkoshi river valley trail we will hike down and uphill climb to until end the Everest Base Camp Kalapathar Trek.
Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel and rest.
This is the day for you to fly back home with unforgettable memory which you have obtained during your trekking..
