Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek is to trek around Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167mt) is the 7th tallest peak in the world and was first climbed by Ernest Forrer, Kurt Dimberger, Peter Diener, Albin Scelbert, and Nawang & Nima Dorje Sherpa on 13th May 1960. After seven days of trek from Darbang you will reach at the base camp of Mt. Dhaulagiri. The Magnificent view of Annapurna & Nilgiri awaits you while crossing french col & Dhampus pass.
Dhaulagiri is rarely visited and the valley and villages surrounding it are unspoiled and unchanged. Our trek takes us across the kali Gandaki River and then north into the heart of the massif: from the base camp we come to the high point of our treks, the traverse of French pass (5,360), the hidden valley and Dhampus pass (5,182m),a high level route which brings us back to the upper Kali Gandaki valley in Jomsom, from here we , either , fly back to Kathmandu via Pokhara or can continue from Jomsom till Birthanti or to Pokharta.
